The first time you come to my clinic, I will ask you to fill in a questionnaire about your symptoms and your digestion. I will check if you have any diseases that could make a colon cleanse unsuitable for you.
The treatment itself takes about 50 minutes. You are lying on a daybed with a towel and a blanket over you. I will put some relaxing music on and maybe give you some relaxing healing before we start, if you are very tense and nervous.
I will explain the way of the food through the body to you – from mouth to rectum. After attaching the rectal tube to your rectum, I will put on the tube for the water and the stool.
There will be no bad smell at all and everything takes place in a closed system, and you could follow the way of your stool through the transparent tube, that leads the water and stool through the machine, before it ends up in the sewerage system.
Your colon gets flushed with filtered, temperate water, which has the temperature of your body. Meanwhile I massage your stomach, preferably the colon to help loosen up the stool and the waste products. After about half an hour, I will put in some water with a temperature of 25 degrees for some minutes, which will loosen up everything even more. This process will be repeated several times during the treatment.
The tube is constructed in a way that allows water to flow in and out at the same time so you will not be filled up with too much water. I will keep an eye on the water pressure all the time so you are safe.
